Graham Watson Launches new Website2.00.00pm GMT Wed 7th Jan 2009 In preparation for this years European Elections on June 4, internet fan Graham Watson MEP launched the Liberal Democrats campaign website today - http://www.swlibdemteam4europe.org.uk Speaking from Brussels where Graham uploaded the site this morning, he commented; "Today is a first exciting step towards the important elections later this year. The site will let people keep up to date with what all our great candidates are up to." "I am a huge fan of the internet; it is a great resource for all. Increasingly my postal mail bag has been replaced by emails, but today people who may not have contacted me - or know how I can help them - do so through sites like Facebook." Current Lib Dem MEP Graham Watson heads the Party's list, and is hoping to be joined in Brussels by popular local farmer and Scientist Dr Kay Barnard who is looking forward to the campaign; "It's the Liberal Democrats who fight for the region to get a fair deal from Europe. We must build on Graham's successes. Problems the region faces from cross border crime to climate change are best solved when Europe works together".
